Reporting in association with corporate social responsibility in private and public sector: trends and practices

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na reporting a vztah ke společenské udržitelnosti, s cílem vyhodnotit vykazování nefinančního reportingu na příkladu vybraných společností a identifikovat naplňování vybraných aspektů udržitelné strategie. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou na základě rešerše relevantních zdrojů vymezeny oblasti společenské odpovědnosti firem a udržitelnosti, reportingu a nefinančního reportingu. V praktické části jsou představeny zvolené firmy a, na základě analýzy jejich nefinančních zpráv mezi lety 2020-2022, také jimi vyvíjené aktivity z hlediska udržitelnosti. Získané poznatky jsou komparovány a vyhodnoceny v závěrečné části práce.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on reporting in association with corporate social responsibility, with the goal of evaluating non-financial reporting of chosen companies. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Based on research of relevant sources, the theoretical part defines areas such as corporate social responsibility, sustainability, reporting and non-financial reporting. The practical part presents the selected companies and, based on the analysis of their non-financial reports between years 2020-2022, their sustainable activities. The findings are compared and evaluated in the final part of the thesis.
