The diploma thesis deals with the issue of ecofeminism and the application of ideas arising from it in the teaching of Citizenship at the lower secondary schools. The theoretical part of the thesis presents ecofeminism as a thought movement, which parallels the degradation of nature and dominant and derogatory attitudes towards women and other oppressed groups.
