Diplomová práce je zaměřena na využití metod sociální práce. Hlavním tématem je individuální sociální práce, úkolově orientovaný přístup a přístup orientovaný na klienta. Nejprve přibližuje sociální práci jako obecnou disciplínu, historii v České republice a význam. Objasňuje pojmy Dům na půl cesty, klient a sociální pracovník. The theses is focused on the application of methods of social work. The main theme is individual social work, task oriented approach and client oriented approach. At first it introduces the topic of social work as a general discipline, its history in the Czech Republic and its importance.
