The position of the pupil with special educational needs in the class collective in the Montessori school and in ordinary elementary school

Abstract:

Kvalifikační práce se zabývá problematikou postavení žáka se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami v kolektivu tříd v Montessori škole a v běžné základní škole, a to pohledem jeho spolužáků. Cílem je porovnat toto postavení v obou typech škol a zjistit, zda se liší. Teoretická část vychází z literární rešerše a zaměřuje se na vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, a to jak z historického pohledu, tak z hlediska současné podpory včetně legislativního rámce a specifikuje kategorii žáka s narušenou komunikační schopností. V této části práce je dále popsána podstata pedagogiky dle Marie Montessori v kontextu jednotlivých vývojových fází dítěte, které definovala. Teoretická část se věnuje i problematice sociálního klimatu školní třídy. Závěr teoretické části tvoří východiska pro stanovení výzkumného problému. Empirická část je založena na výzkumném šetření, pro jehož realizaci je použit Sociometricko-ratingový dotazník V. Hrabala, st. (SO-RA-D). Výzkumný vzorek tvoří žáci ze šesti tříd základních škol. Tři třídy jsou Montessori typu a tři třídy běžné ZŠ. V každé trojici tříd obou typů škol pak jsou žáci s narušenou komunikační schopností, jejichž postavení ve třídě je zjišťováno. Výsledky jsou zpracovány pomocí deskriptivních metod statistické analýzy dat. Na základě zjištěných výsledků výzkumu jsou formulována konkrétní doporučení pro praxi a doporučení pro budoucí studie.

Abstract:

The qualifying thesis deals with the issue of the position of a pupil with special educational needs in a group of classes in a Montessori school and in a regular elementary school, from the point of view of his classmates. The aim is to compare this position in both types of schools and find out if they differ. The theoretical part is based on a literature search and focuses on the education of pupils with special educational needs, both from a historical perspective and in terms of current support, including the legislative framework and specifies the category of pupil with speech and language difficulties. This part of the thesis also describes the essence of Maria Montessori's pedagogy in the context of the different developmental stages of the child she described. The theoretical part also addresses the issue of the social climate of the school classroom. The theoretical part concludes the background for defining the research problem. The empirical part is based on a research investigation, for the implementation of which the Sociometric-rating questionnaire of Vladimír Hrabal st. (SO-RA-D) was used. The research sample consists of pupils from six classes of the primary schools. Three classes are Montessori-type and three classes are regular primary schools. In each trio of classes of both types of schools, there are students with special educational needs from the group of speech and language difficulties, whose position in the class is determined. The results are processed using descriptive methods of statistical data analysis. Based on the research findings, specific recommendations for practice and recommendations for future studies are formulated.
