The phenomenon of homelessness and the assistance from the Regional Caritas Blansko

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Fenomén bezdomovectví a pomoc Oblastní charity Blansko“ pojednává o problematice bezdomovectví a službách Oblastní charity Blansko pro bezdomovce. Teoretická část obsahuje definice základních pojmů souvisejících s fenoménem bezdomovectví, popisuje jeho charakter, typologii, osobnost bezdomovce, konkrétní faktory a příčiny související s jeho vznikem. Zmíněna je v ní také otázka prevence a pomoci, zákon o sociálních službách, orgány a organizace pomáhající bezdomovcům, konkrétní služby Oblastní charity Blansko a komunitní plánování města Blansko. V praktické části práce je popsáno, provedeno a následně vyhodnoceno kvalitativní výzkumné šetření, ke kterému byla použita technika rozhovorů. Rozhovory byly vedeny se skupinou zaměstnanců Oblastní charity Blansko pracujících s cílovou skupinou bezdomovců. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaká skupina bezdomovců se v Blansku pohybuje a jaké služby by pro ně bylo ještě potřeba zřídit.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis „The phenomenon of homelessness and the assistance from the Regional Caritas Blansko“ deals with the issue of homelessness and services of the Regional Caritas Blansko for homeless people. The theoretical part contains definitions of key terms associated with the phenomenon of homelessness, describes its character, typology, personality of homeless people, the specific factors and causes related to its creation. There is also mentioned the issue of prevention and assistance, Law on Social Services, authorities and organizations helping homeless people, particular service of the Regional Caritas Blansko and community planning of Blansko. In the practical part is described, implemented and subsequently evaluated qualitative research in which the interview technique was used. The interviews were conducted with a group of employees of the Regional Caritas Blansko who are working with the target group of homeless people. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out what group of homeless people occures in Blansko and what services would be needed for them to establish.
