V diplomové práci je řešeno téma motivace a vedení lidí ve společnosti Středočeské vodárny, a.s. V teoretické části jsou obecně popsané známé teorie a metodiky týkajících se motivace a vedení lidí. Dále jsou zde teoreticky popsané určité taktiky a návody zaměřené na motivaci a vedení lidí.
