Abstract:
Záměrem této práce je popsat některé významné výsledky teorie sociálního výběru, a to s důrazem na popis různých volebních systémů vedoucích k výběru společenského výsledku na základě vůle voličů. V první části práce jsou popsány některé jednoduché systémy vyhodnocování hlasů, druhá část zkoumá funkce sociálního výběru a poslední část se věnuje funkcím společenského blahobytu.

The aim of this thesis is to study some significant results of the theory of social choice, with an emphasis on describing various voting systems leading to the selection of a social result based on the voters’ will.
