Investment possibilities on the Internet focusing on the RM-SYSTEM and the Prague Stock Exchange.

Abstract:

Práce "Možnosti investování prostřednictvím internetu se zaměřením na RM-SYSTÉM a Burzu cenných papírů" se zabývá analýzou investování na zmíněných burzách a analýzou možností investování pomocí internetu v České republice. Úvodní část práce je zaměřena na stručnou historii kapitálových trhů, jejich význam, rozdělení, účastníky a na instrumenty na kapitálových trzích. Další část popisuje zástupce burzovního a mimoburzovního trhu v České republice, akciové indexy a možnosti investování prostřednictvím internetu. Praktická část je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část porovnává obě burzy, jejich akciové indexy a rizikové prémie pro období 1995-2010, dále pro období 1995-1999 a 1999-2010. Dále porovná podíl na trhu, vývoj burz v čase a objemy obchodů. Druhá část se zaměřuje na internetové obchodování. Konkrétně porovná společnosti, které umožňují investovat na obě zanalyzované burzy a především jejich internetové platformy. Podle zvolených kritérií jsem určil, která platforma je výhodnější a navrhl jsem zlepšení pro obě platformy. Poté jsem navrhl svůj vlastní grafický návrh pracovního prostředí pro aplikaci. Dále jsem u společností stanovil kritéria, na jejichž základě vyšla společnost ATLANTIK jako nejvýhodnější investiční společnost pro drobné a začínající investory.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Investment possibilities on the Internet focusing on the RM-SYSTEM and the Prague Stock Exchange" analyses investment on the mentioned stock exchanges and analyses the possibilities of the Internet investment in Czech Republic. Preamble is focused on the brief history of capital markets, their purpose, segmentation, and participants and on the instruments on the capital markets. Next part describes representatives of the stock and off-exchange market in the Czech Republic, their share indexes and possibilities of the Internet investment. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first part compares both stock exchanges, share indexes and risk premiums in 1995-2010, then for the period 1995-1999 and 1999-2010. Then it compares market share, development during the time period and volume of business. The second part is focused on the Internet investment. It compares companies, which provide this kind of investment and especially their Internet platforms. According to specific criteria, I chose the most convenient platform and made improvement suggestions. After that, I created my own graphics draft of the working environment of the online platform. Then, I set another criteria for the companies. Based on these criteria, the company ATLANTIK is interpreted as the best choice for small and beginning investors.
