Nursing Process in The Care of Patient with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem této bakalářské práce je ošetřovatelský proces v péči o pacienta s chronickou obstrukční plicní nemocí a následné vypracování ošetřovatelských diagnóz souvisejících s péčí o pacienta s tímto onemocněním. Chronická obstrukční plicní nemoc patří mezi nejčastější chronické onemocnění dolních cest dýchacích, které výrazně zhoršuje kvalitu života a může vést až k předčasné smrti. Při léčbě je rozhodující včasná diagnostika, pečlivé monitorování a trvalá edukace pacienta. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. První kapitola teoretické části se zabývá etiologií, diagnostikou, léčbou a prevencí chronické obstrukční plicní nemoci. Ve druhé kapitole jsou popsána specifika ošetřovatelské péče u pacienta s chronickou obstrukční plicní nemocí při hospitalizaci a ambulantních kontrolách. V praktické části je vypracován ošetřovatelský proces u konkrétního pacienta, který vychází ze stanovených ošetřovatelských diagnóz dle NANDA International taxonomie II. Jednotlivé ošetřovatelské diagnózy vymezují a stanovují cíl, intervence, realizaci a hodnocení ošetřovatelské péče. Cílem této práce je definovat ošetřovatelský proces u konkrétního pacienta s chronickou obstrukční plicní nemocí během hospitalizace.

Abstract:

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is the nursing process in the care of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and the subsequent elaboration of nursing diagnoses related to care for a patient with this disease. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is the most common chronic diseases of the lower respiratory tract, which significantly impairs quality of life and can lead to premature death. During the treatment is crucial, early diagnosis and careful monitoring of ongoing patients education. The work is splited into theoretical and practical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to etiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The second chapter describes the specifics of nursing care for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease during his hospitalization and following outpatient of controls. Based on the established nursing diagnoses which are given according to NANDA International taxonomy II is desribed the nursing proces for specific patient in practical part of this thesis. The particular nursing diagnosis define and circumscribe the target, intervention, implementation and rating of nursing care. The aim of this work is to define the nursing process in the individual patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease during hospitalization.
