Abstract:

Vědomí tradice, vědomí koncepce je název pro diplomovou práci zaměřující se na institucionální dějiny Filmové a televizní fakulty Akademie múzických umění v Praze. Práce je veskrze syntetická, protože částečně zahrnuje dobový kulturní kontext, postavení školy v rámci vysokoškolské politiky, mezinárodní spolupráci i ekonomickou rovinu fungování školy a vývoj legislativního rámce. Institucionální dějiny tvoří podstatnou část práce, protože podle dosavadní praxe se téma zpracovávalo skrz osudy profilových osobností z řad funkcionářů a přednášejících. Základem je klasický historiografický přístup, prozkoumání dostupných materiálů.Cílem práce je zamyslet se nad formou a způsobem výuky na FAMU, s ohledem na poměr praktické a teoretické náplně. Samotný název práce odkazuje k tezi, která se nejvíce týká proporce tvořivosti a koncepčnosti. Tam, kde byla jasná koncepce až v druhém plánu, byla o to více přítomna tradice. Naopak tam, kde byla jasná koncepce, stává se tradice pouze kontextuálním rámcem, který vyzývá k navazování spíše, než sám zavazuje.

Abstract:

´Awareness of tradition, awareness of concept´, the title of a dissertation regarding the institutional history of FAMU (Film and TV School), part of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. The dissertation is synthetic throughout insofar as partly it contains a contemporary cultural context, the standing of the academy in terms of university politics in general, international co-operation as well as the economic functionality of the school and the development of the legislative aspect. Institutional history forms a substantial part of the dissertation because the custom up to now was to treat the subject using the destinies of personalities from the ranks of functionaries and lecturers. The core forms a classical historiographic approach researching available material.The aim of the dissertation is to consider the form and methods of teaching at FAMU taking into account the proportion of the practical and theoretical content The actual title of the dissertation refers to the principle which most of all touches on proportion of creativity and conceptuality. Where the clear concept only came secondary tradition was all the more visible. To the contrary, where the concept was clear tradition then only becomes a contextual framework which invites a tie-in rather than it being itself binding.
