UX and UI design of software tool for communication between thermographic camera and PC

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na tvorbu user experience a user interface designu aplikace. Jedná se o tvorbu designu, který je zaměřený především na uživatele. V teoretické části autor vysvětlil základní pojmy spojených s designem aplikací a jejich porovnáním. Následně definoval human-centered design process a funkci a použití termokamery při výuce. V praktické části autor využil polostrukturovaný dotazník, který byl nezbytnou součástí pro splnění cíle práce a získání všech podstatných informací k tvorbě designu. Z informací získaných z dotazníku, požadavků zadavatele a výsledku výzkumu aktuálního řešení bylo sestaveno několik požadavků na nový design aplikace. Příprava nového designu probíhala ve třech krocích - low fidelity prototyp, high fidelity prototyp a implementace. V poslední kapitole se autor věnuje popisu nově vytvořeného designu a vysvětlení jednotlivých komponent designu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the creation of user experience and user interface design of the application. It is the creation of a design that is focused primarily on users. In the theoretical part, the author explained the basic concepts associated with the design of applications and their comparison. The author then defined the human-centered design process and the function and use of the thermal imager in school lessons. In the practical part, the author used a semi-structured questionnaire, which was a necessary part to reach the goal of the work and obtain all the essential information to create a design. From the information obtained from the questionnaire, the requirements of the client and the result of the research of the current solution, several requirements for the new design of the application were compiled. The preparation of the new design took place in three steps - low fidelity prototype, high fidelity prototype, and implementation. In the last chapter, the author describes the newly created design and explains the individual components of the design.
