The importance of companies' attitudes towards CSR while choosing an employer

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje zjišťování vlivu postoje společností k společensko odpovědným aktivitám na studenty při výběru zaměstnavatele. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vymezení pojmu společenská odpovědnost firem, komunikaci CSR a faktory ovlivňující výběr zaměstnavatele. Praktická část se věnuje analýze CSR aktivit TOP 5 nejlepších zaměstnavatelů v ČR, kde tyto aktivity jsou později součástí dotazníkového šetření, které zkoumá vliv CSR na vysokoškolské studenty v ČR při výběru potencionálního zaměstnavatele.

Abstract:

This thesis investigates the influence of companies' attitudes towards socially responsible activities on students' employer choice. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of corporate social responsibility, CSR communication and factors influencing employer selection. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of CSR activities of the TOP 5 best employers in the Czech Republic, where these activities are later included in a questionnaire survey that examines the influence of CSR on university students in the Czech Republic when choosing a potential employer.
