Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá adaptací seniora na život v domově pro seniory a činiteli, které se na procesu adaptace významně podílejí. Teoretická část je rozdělena na tři kapitoly a opírá se o dřívější i současné poznatky odborníků na tuto problematiku. První kapitola nabídne přehled základních charakteristik stáří. Popíšu změny, které doprovázejí stárnutí a jejich vliv na seniora. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vstupem seniora do ústavní péče a činitelům, které mají na tuto životní situaci vliv. Uvedu, jaké situace mohou předcházet vstupu do ústavní péče a činitele, jež ovlivňuji seniorovo rozhodování. Popisuje také možné reakce seniorů na vstup do institucionální péče, a čím jsou takové reakce určovány. Třetí kapitola se věnuje samotnému procesu adaptace seniora. Téma adaptace v této kapitole vztahuji hlavně k aktivnímu trávení volného času a stimulům v sociální oblasti života. Výzkumná část bude založena na kvalitativním výzkumu s designem zakotvené teorie. Základní výzkumnou metodou jsou zvoleny polostrukturované rozhovory díky nichž budou ověřovány pocity dotázaných seniorek, které procházejí adaptačním procesem. Cílem této práce je ověřit, které činitele mají významný vliv na adaptační proces u skupiny seniorek ve věku nad 70 let.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the adaptation of seniors to life in a home for the elderly and agents that the adaptation process significantly involved. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters and is based on past and current knowledge of experts on this issue. The first chapter offers an overview of basic characteristics of old age. I will describe the changes that accompany aging and their impact on seniors. The second chapter deals with the entry of seniors in institutional care and the factors that are to influence this living situation. Please indicate what the situation may be preceded by entering into institutional care and the factors that influence the decision-Ageing has. It also describes the possible reactions of seniors to enter institutional care, and the more such reactions are determined. The third chapter is devoted to the process of adaptation of seniors. The theme of adaptation in this chapter relate mainly to the active leisure and incentives in the social life. The research part is based on qualitative research design grounded theory. Basic research method are selected through interviews which will be verified feelings respondents older women that go through the adaptation process. The aim of this study is to determine which factors have a significant influence on the adaptation process at a group of senior women aged over 70 years.
