Abstract:
Bakalářská diplomová práce Žena v informační společnosti pojednává o postavení ženy v informační společnosti. Zabývá se digitální propastí mezi gendery v České republice, zvláště genderovou segregací profesí v informačním prostředí, a konstatuje, že její příčinou jsou genderové stereotypy a předsudky. Ženy jsou na jejich základě vyloučeny z oblasti ICT a tím i z informační společnosti.

The Bachelor's Thesis Women in the information society focuses on the situation of women in the information society. This text deals with the gender digital divide in the Czech republic, especially gender segregation of the information professions (the digital gender gap), and it finds problem in the gender stereotypes and bias.
