Methicillin rezistentní Staphylococcus aureus (dále jen MRSA) je mutace stafylokoka odolná vůči různým antibiotikům. Patří mezi časté nozokomiální patogeny. Přenos této bakterie je nejčastější prostřednictvím kontaminovaných rukou ošetřovatelského personálu, dále kontaminovanými pomůckami a nástroji. Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (hereinafter referred to as MRSA) is Staphylococcus mutation resistant to various antibiotics. It is one of the common nosocomial pathogens. The most common transmission of this bacterium is through contaminated hands of nursing staff, as well as contaminated equipment and instruments.
