Long-term unemployment in the Benešov u Prahy region and its solutions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou nezaměstnanosti, konkrétně dlouhodobou nezaměstnaností na okrese Benešov u Prahy. Je tvořena teoretickou a praktickou částí. Teoretická část popisuje historii a význam práce, vznik nezaměstnanosti, druhy nezaměstnanosti, dopady dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti na člověka. Obsahuje popis Úřadu práce, vznik a činnosti, státní a aktivní politiku zaměstnanosti, druhy aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti, projekty napomáhající ke zvýšení zaměstnanosti. Praktická část byla realizovaná pomocí kvalitativního šetření a to prostřednictvím analýzy nezaměstnanosti na okrese Benešov a srovnání ohrožených skupin na trhu práce. Obsahuje popis lokality, největší zaměstnavatele. Pro lepší přehled jsou výsledky výzkumu uspořádány do tabulek a znázorněny pomocí grafů. Závěrem byl uskutečněn rozhovor s pracovníkem Úřadu práce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of unemployment, specifically long-term unemployment in the district of Benešov near Prague. It consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the history and importance of work, the origin of unemployment, types of unemployment, the effects of long-term unemployment on humans. It contains a description of the Labor Office, the establishment and activities, state and active employment policy, types of active employment policy, projects helping to increase employment. The practical part was implemented through a qualitative survey through an analysis of unemployment in the district of Benešov and a comparison of vulnerable groups in the labor market. Contains a description of the site, the largest employer. For a better overview, the research results are arranged in tables and represented by graphs. Finally, an interview was conducted with an employee of the Labor Office.
