Level of social services in the Havířov Senior Citizens Home

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zhodnotit úroveň sociálních služeb Domova seniorů v Havířově z pohledu klientů a navrhnout možná zlepšení. Úvodní část bakalářské práce se zaměří na obecnou charakteristiku sociální politiky a sociálních služeb s ohledem na vybranou cílovou skupinu. Praktická část představí fungování vybraného domova pro seniory v Havířově a zhodnotí úroveň zde poskytovaných sociálních služeb z pohledu jejich uživatelů. V práci budou využita sekundární data z veřejně dostupných zdrojů a výsledky průzkumu realizovaného mezi klienty domova. Součástí této práce budou návrhy a doporučení pro zlepšení této vybrané sociální služby.

Abstract:

The aim of the work is to evaluate the level of social services of the Home for the Elderly in Havířov from the perspective of clients and to suggest possible improvements. The introductory part of the bachelor thesis will focus on the general characteristics of social policy and social services with respect to the selected target group. The practical part will introduce the operation of a selected home for the elderly in Havířov and evaluate the level of social services provided here from the perspective of their users. The work will use secondary data from publicly available sources and the results of a survey conducted among clients of the home. This work will include suggestions and recommendations for improving this selected social service.
