Práce se věnuje výkladu druhé světové války přítomném v učebnicích dějepisu pro základní a střední školy mezi lety 1969 a 1989 v ČSSR. Vzdělávání stejně jako jiné oblasti podléhalo kontrole komunistické strany, proto se na stránkách učebnic objevovaly projevy dobové ideologie cílící na výchovu mládeže. The thesis examines the interpretation of the Second World War in history textbooks for primary and secondary schools between 1969 and 1989 in Czechoslovakia. Education, like other areas, was under the control of the Communist Party and therefore the pages of textbooks contained evidence of the ideology aimed at educating the youth.
