Integrated rescue system - Liquidation of chemical accidents and testing of the suitability of sorbents.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou likvidace chemických havárií a testování vhodnosti sorpčních prostředků v souvislosti s Integrovaným záchranným systémem, přesněji při činnosti Jednotek požární ochrany. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část zpracovává základní termíny jako chemická havárie, její druhy a historické případy, dále likvidace chemických havárií, nebezpečné látky, sorbenty a rozdělení jednotek požární ochrany. Cílem výzkumné části bakalářské práce je ověřit vhodnost a schopnost účinnosti jednotlivých sorpčních prostředků používajících se při úniku nebezpečných látek jednotkami požární ochrany. Pro dosažení cíle byl nejprve použit dotazník, na který odpovídalo 40 respondentů, kteří se skládali z členů jednotek požární ochrany. Výsledky dotazníku pak byly použity pro dva kvalitativní testy. První test se skládal z testování sorbentů při aplikaci na nejčastěji likvidovanou nebezpečnou látku, která vyplynula z dotazníku. Druhý test spočíval v aplikaci sorbentu v reálných podmínkách. V rámci závěru vyplynuly nejvhodnější sorbenty vhodné pro použití při zásazích jednotek požární ochrany.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of liquidation of chemical accidents and testing the suitability of sorbents in connection with the Integrated Rescue System, precisely during the activity of the fire protection units. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical section elaborates on basic terms, such as, chemical accidents, dangerous substances, sorbents and division of the fire protection units. The aim of the research section of the bachelor thesis is to verify the suitability and effectiveness of sorbents used in the event of a leak of hazardous substances by the fire protection units. To achieve the goal, a questionnaire was used, which was answered by 40 respondents who were members of the fire protection units. The results of the questionnaire were used for two qualitative tests. The first test consisted of testing sorbents during application on the most frequently disposed of hazardous substance, which resulted from the questionnaire. The second test consists in applying the sorbent in real conditions. In the end, there were recommendations for sorbents suitable for use during interventions by the fire protection units.
