The topic of this thesis is the perfect and the preterit, their occurrence within a single text. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. Tématem této práce je perfektum a préteritum, jejich výskyt v rámci jednoho textu. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny gramatické časy, přičemž se podrobněji zaměřuje na perfektum a préteritum.
