Treatment of Infertility from the Nurses' Perspective

Abstract:

BIBRLOVÁ, Hana. Léčba neplodnosti z pohledu všeobecné sestry. Vysoká škola zdravotnická, o.p.s. Stupeň kvalifikace: Bakalář (Bc.). Vedoucí práce: PhDr. Ivana Jahodová, PhD. Praha. 2020. 85 stran. Tématem bakalářské práce je léčba neplodnosti z pohledu všeobecné sestry. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou a je složena z 8 hlavních kapitol. V teoretické části je popsána definice neplodnosti, její příčiny, vyšetřovací metody včetně nejnovějších metod. Část teoretická se věnuje také preimplantační genetické diagnostice. Popsána je také role všeobecné sestry v léčbě neplodnosti. V praktické části je popsán kompletní postup přípravy a průběhu umělého oplodnění konkrétní pacientky, která léčbu pomocí asistované reprodukce podstoupila. Výstupem bakalářské práce je zpracovaný IVF diář, který může být velmi užitečný jako edukační materiál pro ženy, které se chystají podstoupit své první IVF. Potencionální a aktuální diagnózy jsou stanoveny podle knihy NANDA I Taxonomie II, 2015 - 2017.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the treatment of infertility. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part and consists of 8 main chapters. The theoretical part describes the definition of infertility, its causes, examination methods including the latest methods. The theoretical part also deals with Preimplantation genetic diagnostics. The role of the general nurse in the treatment of infertility is also described. The practical part describes the complete process of preparation and course of artificial insemination of a specific patient who underwent treatment by assisted reproduction. The output of this thesis is the processing of IVF diary, which can be very useful as educational material for women who will undergo their first IVF. Potential and current diagnosis are based on NANDA I Taxonomy II, 2015-2017.
