Learning styles and possibilities of their development in Russian language teaching.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Styly učení a možnosti jejich rozvíjení ve výuce ruského jazyka“ je věnována problematice stylů učení ve výuce ruského jazyka na 2. stupni základní školy. Diplomová práce je tradičně rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je pozornost věnována aktuální problematice výuky cizích jazyků na základní škole, dále zde dochází k vymezení klíčových pojmů, jako například styly učení či strategie učení v cizojazyčném vyučování. Podstatu praktické části tvoří nejen kvantitativní výzkum realizovaný pomocí námi sestavených dotazníků, jehož respondenty se stali žáci 2. stupně základní školy, ale především výukové aktivity navržené na základě výsledků tohoto výzkumu. Hlavním cílem naší práce je zjistit rozvržení preferovaných stylů učení na 2. stupni základní školy a následně navrhnout vhodné výukové aktivity, jež by příslušné učební styly žáků rozvíjely.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Learning styles and possibilities of their development in Russian language teaching“ deals with the current issue of learning styles in Russian language teaching at a lower secondary school. The thesis is traditionally divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the current issue of foreign language teaching at a lower secondary school. Apart from this it consists of discussion of learning styles and strategies in foreign language teaching. The focus of the practical part is created not only by a quantitative research which is carried out through the questionnaires, the respondents of which are pupils of lower secondary school, but mainly by the learning activities designed on the basis of results of the respective research. The main aim of our thesis is to find out students' preferred learning styles and design suitable learning activities that would develop respective students' learning styles.
