Families' experience in involving children in the "Meeting around the child" care

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zkušenost rodin se zapojením dětí do péče "Setkání okolo dítěte" (SOD). Teoretická část je rozdělená do dvou kapitol. První kapitola popisuje rodinu jako systém. Ve druhé kapitole se zabýváme multidisciplinární spoluprací. Výzkumná část se soustředí na zkušenosti matek s SOD. Výzkumný soubor byl zvolen účelovým výběrem. Zahrnoval 5 respondentek ve věku 26-47 let. Data byla získána pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. U dvou respondentek byla data získána alternativním způsobem (pomocí e-mailové konverzace, případně po telefonu). Zpracování dat se opírá o interpretativní fenomenologickou analýzu. Výsledky výzkumu prezentujeme ve dvou částech. První část je zaměřena více fenomenologicky. Popisuje zkušenost respondentek z pohledu šesti kategorií, které odpovídají schématu výzkumné metody. Ve druhé části prezentujeme témata vynořená z rozhovorů. Jsou to zátěž související s problematikou nemocného dítěte, sourozenecký subsystém, týmová spolupráce a přínos SOD. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že zkušenost respondentek s SOD je převážně pozitivní.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on families' experience with involving children in the "Meeting around the child" ("Setkání okolo dítěte", SOD) care. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter describes family as a system. In the second chapter we deal with multidisciplinary teamwork. The research part focuses on mothers' experiences with SOD. The research sample was selected by purposeful selection. It included 5 respondents aged 26-47. We gathered the data for the research using semi-structured interviews. For two respondents, the data were obtained in an alternative way (using an e-mail conversation or by telephone). Data were analysed by using interpretative phenomenological analysis. The results are presented in two parts. The first part is focused more phenomenologically. It describes the experience of the respondents from the point of view of six categories, which correspond to the scheme of the research method. In the second part, we present themes emerged from the interviews. They involve issues connected to an illness of a child, the sibling subsystem, teamwork and benefits of SOD. The results of the research show that the respondents' experience with SOD is mostly positive.
