Analysis of the Speech Therapy Intervention on Pupils with Specific Learning Disabilities

Abstract:

Tato závěrečná diplomová práce pojednává o problematice specifických poruch učení a narušené komunikační schopnosti. Diplomová práce je tvořena dvěma základními částmi – částí teoretickou a částí praktickou. V teoretické části je věnována pozornost problematice specifických poruch učení, jejich základní terminologii, etiologii, klasifikaci a projevům jednotlivých poruch. V teoretické části práce je pozornost rovněž věnována problematice narušené komunikační schopnosti, jejímu základnímu vymezení a klasifikaci, dále je popsán ontogenetický vývoj z hlediska jazykových rovin řeči a rovněž byla zahrnuta kapitola věnující se problematice specifických poruch řeči u žáků se specifickými poruchami učení. V teoretické části je rovněž popsána základní charakteristika auditivní percepce řeči, dále problematika sluchové diferenciace a sluchové analýzy a syntézy. Cílem praktické části práce pak bylo provedení analýzy logopedické intervence u žáků mladšího školního věku, u nichž byla v minulosti potvrzena diagnóza specifických poruch učení. Pozornost byla primárně věnována šetření oblastí sluchové diferenciace, sluchové analýzy a syntézy a šetření oblasti jazykového citu u žáků se specifickými poruchami učení.

Abstract:

This final theses deals with specific learning disabilities and communication disorder. This thesis consists of two basic parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the issue of specific learning disabilities, their basic terminology, definitions, etiology, classification and symptoms of the disorders. The theoretical part also deals with issues of communication disorders, its basic definition and classification and there is also ontogenetic development of speech and language levels described. This chapter also deals with issue of specific disorders of speech to students with specific learning disabilities. The theoretical part also describes the main characteristics of auditory speech perception, but also the issues auditory differentiation ability and acoustical analysis and synthesis. The practical part of my work was to analyze the speech therapy intervention on primary school pupils which have been previously confirmed the diagnosis of specific learning disabilities. Attention was primarily focused on the research areas of auditory differentiation, acoustical analysis and synthesis and investigation of linguistic sentiment of pupils with specific learning disabilities.
