Asisted contacts between foster children and biological family

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí, a to z teoretické a aplikační. Cílem mé práce je zmapovat krizové situace, které mohou nastat při asistovaném kontaktu a zjistit jakou roli při jejich řešení hraje sociální pracovník. V teoretické části definuji klíčové pojmy, které mi pomohou k naplnění cíle v aplikační části mé práce. Aplikační část popisuje jednotlivé konkrétní případy z organizace zabývající se doprovázením pěstounských rodin. Aplikační část je zpracovaná formou analýzy dokumentů, konkrétně spisů jednotlivých případů a je doplněna nestrukturovanými expertními rozhovory se sociálními pracovnicemi. Výstupem aplikační části bylo zjištění, že sociální pracovník v asistovaném kontaktu nejvíce využívá roli koordinátora a poskytuje hlavně poradensko-terapeutické služby. Dalším výsledkem bylo zjištění nedostatečné přípravy biologického rodiče na kontakt.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis consists of two parts, a theoretical and an application part. The aim of my thesis is to map crisis situations that can arise during assisted contact and to identify the role that the social worker plays during the process of addressing those situations. The theoretical part defines key terms, which help to fulfill the aim of my thesis in the application part. The application part describes specific individual cases of an organization engaging in accompanying foster families. The application part is processed in the form of analysis of documents, especially by case files and is supplemented by unstructured expert interviews with social workers. The outcome of the application part is the finding, that a social worker during assisted contact mostly utilizes the role of a coordinator and mainly provides counseling and therapeutic services. Another result of this thesis was the finding of insufficient preparation of a biological parent for contact.
