Advising in language learning integrated into the lower secondary educationl programmes in the context of German as a foreign language

Abstract:

The following thesis deals with matters connected to the advising in language learning and, in particular, to its integration into the lower secondary educational programmes, especially into the German as a foreign language classroom. The general theoretical base and the connections with the theory of autonomic learning are introduced in the first part as well as the advising in language learning for adults, which is the most common form of advising. Based on these, the possible application of the language consultancy principles into the practice of lower secondary education is discussed. The practical part presents a set of learning materials designed to integrate the advising in language learning features into the German as a foreign language classroom within the course “Learning to Learn” run at one of the lower secondary schools in Brno.

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou jazykového poradenství, konkrétně možností jeho integrace do výuky na základní škole a to především v kontextu výuky němčiny jako cizího jazyka. V první části práce jsou nejprve nastíněna obecná teoretická východiska tohoto konceptu, zejména jeho souvislost s teorií autonomního učení. Dále se tato část věnuje jazykovému poradenství pro dospělé jakožto obvyklé formě poradenství, na základě čehož potom otevírá diskuzi ohledně možností aplikace jeho principů na úroveň základní školy. V praktické části práce je následně představen soubor učebních materiálů navržených k integraci prvků jazykového poradenství do výuky němčiny jako cizího jazyka na základní škole a to v kontextu kurzu Učíme se učit se zrealizovaného na jedné z brněnských základních škol.
