Integration of low-income families with children outside socially excluded localities

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje popisu problematiky integrace nízkopříjmových rodin s dětmi mimo sociálně vyloučené lokality. Práce je vedena jako teoreticko-výzkumná, jejímž cílem je popsat problematiku integrace nízkopříjmových rodin a zjistit cenovou dostupnost bydlení v různých lokalitách města Karviná. Teoretickou část tvoří čtyři hlavní kapitoly, které se snaží o pochopení problematiky integrace nízkopříjmových rodin a problémů, se kterými se tyto rodiny musejí potýkat. V dalších kapitolách jsou pak popsány možnosti bydlení a způsoby pomoci při řešení sociálně nepříznivé situace spojené s bydlením. Prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu byly vedeny polostrukturované rozhovory. Data pro výzkum byla získána také studiem dokumentů. Po zpracování získaných dat došlo k identifikaci základních témat plynoucích z výzkumu, které byly především možnosti bydlení, podmínky a limity při vstupu do bydlení, způsoby úhrady bydlení, problémy spojené s bydlením a spolupráce. Z výsledků bylo patrné, že ve městě Karviná je dostatek volných bytů, a to i pro nízkopříjmové rodiny s dětmi.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is attended to the description of the issue of integration of low-income families with children outside socially excluded localities. The work is conducted as a theoretical-research project, the aim of which is to describe the issue of integration of low-income families and to determine the affordability of housing in various locations of the city of Karviná. The theoretical part consists of four main chapters, which try to understand the issue of integration of low-income families and problems these families have to deal with. In other chapters, housing options and ways of helping to solve the socially unfavorable situation associated with housing are described. Through qualitative research, semi-structured interviews were conducted. Data for the research was also obtained by studying documents. After processing the obtained data, the basic topics resulting from the research were identified, which were primarily housing options, conditions and limits when entering housing, ways to pay for housing, problems associated with housing and cooperation. The results showed that there are enough vacant apartments in the city of Karviná, even for low-income families with children.
