Disruption of communication skills due to acquired physical disability

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat možnosti rozvoje narušené komunikační schopnosti a podpory klienta se získaným tělesným postižením s projevy afázie a dysartrie. Mezi dílčí cíle je zařazena analýza situace klienta z pohledu rodinných příslušníků, analýza postupu klinické logopedky včetně ukázky konkrétních postupů a analýza postupů přípravy rozvoje komunikační schopnosti klienta v domácím prostředí. Jako metodologie bylo kvalitativní šetření, přičemž zvolenou metodou byla kazuistika. Mezi techniky, které byly v bakalářské práci využity, jsou řazeny: polostrukturovaný rozhovor, který byl použit při analýze rozhovoru s rodinnými příslušníky klienta. Rodinným příslušníkům byly kladeny z části připravené otázky, které byly doplňovány spontánními otázkami, dle vývoje a směru rozhovoru. Dále analýza výsledků činnosti klienta při logopedické intervenci aplikované klinickou logopedkou a analýza výsledků činnosti v rodinném prostředí. Zde byly analyzovány metody rozvoje komunikační schopnosti u klienta. Technika aktivního pozorování byla aplikována při přepisu ukázky konkrétních logopedických postupů v rámci terapie využívané klinickou logopedkou při logopedické intervenci. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. V teoretické části je uveden rozbor odborné literatury. Dále jsou uvedeny metody při rozvoji hybnosti u jedince se získaným tělesným postižením a souhrn metod používaných při dysartrii a afázii. V praktické části jsou uvedeny metody výsledků činnosti logopedické intervence, analýza výsledků činnosti po úraze i v době následné, analýza výsledků činnosti v domácím prostředí a výsledky šetření. Abstract:

Annotation of bachelor’s thesis The main aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to analyze the possibilities of development of impaired communication ability and to support client with acquired physical disability with symptoms of aphasia and dysarthria. The other targets include analysis of the situation from the perspective of the client family members, the analysis steps of speech therapist, and approach analysis of preparation of client communication ability in family environment. As a methodology the qualitative research was chosen and as a method a case report was chosen. Used techniques are: semi-structured interview, used when having interview with client’s family members. The family members were interviewed by prepared questions that where followed by other spontaneous questions according to the interview flow. Other used technique is analysis of client’s results during speech therapy intervention applied by speech therapist and results analysis of activities in family environment. Here the methods of client’s communication abilities were analyzed. Technique of active observation was applied when speech therapy procedures were reviewed within therapy used by speech therapist intervention. The bachelor’s thesis is divided into three main captures. Theoretical part includes literature analysis, methods of motion development by person with acquired physically impairment, and list of methods used in dysarthria and aphasia. Practical part includes results of speech therapy intervention, analysis of activities after the injury and in future, analysis of results in family environment and investigation results.
