Factors affecting business in the hotel industry

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou Faktory ovlivňující podnikání v hotelnictví. Cílem práce je specifikace faktorů ovlivňujících podnikání v oboru hotelnictví a jejich dopad na podnikatelskou činnost vybraného subjektu a demonstrace náročnosti na lidský kapitál a finanční zabezpečení subjektu. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. Teoretická část se věnuje obecným základům podnikání, definici pojmu hotelnictví a charakteristice ubytovacích služeb. Následuje přiblížení specifických norem podnikání v hotelnictví se všemi náležitostmi, které jsou nutné. Dále se teoreticky zaměřuje na vnější faktory ovlivňující prosperitu podniku, tedy na makrookolí a mikrookolí, respektive na jejich specifikaci. Součástí je také shrnutí ekonomického významu cestovního ruchu pro ekonomiku České republiky. Obsahem analytické části je demonstrovat konkrétní faktory pomocí vybraných analýz, náročnost na lidský kapitál a finanční zabezpečení daného ekonomického subjektu a zhodnocení dopadu podnikatelské činnosti daného subjektu na rozvoj dalších odvětví národního hospodářství. Závěrečná návrhová část zahrnuje doporučené návrhy.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis are factors influencing business in the hotel industry. The aim of the work is to specify the factors influencing business in the hotel industry and their impact on the business activities of the selected entity, demonstration of the requirements for human capital and financial security of the entity. The work is divided into three parts. The theoretical part deals with the general basics of business, the definition of the concept of hospitality and the characteristics of accommodation services. This is followed by the approximation of specific business standards in the hotel industry with all the necessary needs. Theoretically, it also focuses on external factors affecting the prosperity of company, consequently on their specifics, in the macro-environment and micro-environment. It also includes a summary of the economic importance of tourism for the economy of the Czech Republic. The content of the analytical part is a demonstration of specific factors using selected analyzes, requirements for human capital and financial security of the economic entity and evaluation of the impact of business activities of the entity on the development of other sectors of the national economy. The final design part contains recommended proposals.
