The job description of a health and social worker in a palliative team

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je složena z pěti částí. První část vymezuje paliativní péči, která je definována v základních pojmech a je zaměřena na její psychosociální aspekty. Druhá část práce pojednává o hospicové péči, vymezuje její formy a představuje a mapuje síť hospicové péče na území České republiky. Třetí část je věnována roli zdravotně-sociálního pracovníka a jeho náplni práce, zaměřuje se rovněž na jeho kompetence. Představuje jeho schopnosti, dovednosti a předpoklady, které jsou potřebné pro výkon tohoto povolání, a dále uvádí definici multidisciplinárního týmu. Čtvrtá kapitola je praktická část práce, pro kterou jsem zvolila kvalitativní výzkum. Pátá kapitola je věnována diskuzi. Jako metodu výzkumu jsem zvolila rozhovor. Nástrojem sběru dat se staly polostrukturované rozhovory a pro analýzu těchto dat byla uplatněna metoda trsu. Výzkum byl realizován ve dvou vybraných zdravotnických zařízeních. Informanty se stali vybraní pracovníci těchto zařízení. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaká je náplň práce zdravotně-sociálního pracovníka ve vybraných zdravotnických zařízeních.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis consists of five parts. The first part defines palliative care, which is defined in basic terms and focuses on its psychosocial aspects. The second part of the thesis deals with hospice care, defines its forms and presents and maps the hospice care network in the Czech Republic. The third part is devoted to the role of a health-social worker and his job description, it also focuses on his competence. It presents his skills, skills and prerequisites required to pursue the profession and gives a definition of a multidisciplinary team. The fourth chapter is the practical part of the work, for which I chose qualitative research. The fifth chapter is devoted to the discussion. I chose interview as my research method. Semi-structured interviews became a tool for data collection and the tuft method was used to analyze this data. The research was carried out in two selected medical facilities. The informants became selected employees of these facilities. The aim of the thesis is to find out what is the job description of a health and social worker in selected health care facilities.
