Předmětem zkoumání práce jsou společné a odlišné rysy Evropské unie a Spojených států amerických v oblasti daňové harmonizace a daňové konkurence ve zdanění příjmů právnických osob. Práce se snaží popsat oba systémy z daňového hlediska, vymezit jejich kladné a záporné stránky a vytipovat významné státy v obou sledovaných oblastech z hlediska daňové konkurence. Subject of the diploma thesis is to describe common and distinct characteristics of European Union and United States of America's tax harmonization and tax competition, with focus on the corporate income taxes.
