Speech and language development of pupils with dysarthria

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou rozvoje komunikačních dovedností u žáků s dysartrií. Teoretická část má charakter kvalitativního výzkumu postaveného na analýze české i zahraniční odborné literatury. Další nedílnou součástí je také analýza legislativních dokumentů. Zabývá se teoretickými poznatky o komunikaci, jazykových rovinách a jejich narušení, mentálním, tělesným a kombinovaných postižením a dysartrií. Dále podává také stručný popis speciálního školství, rámcových vzdělávacích programů a uvádí terapeutické přístupy u žáků s dysartrií. Praktická část obsahuje vyhodnocení kvalitativního výzkumu. Ten vychází z případových studií žáků, pozorování žáků a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s učiteli, asistenty pedagoga či osobními asistent, rodiči a školní logopedickou asistentkou.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with an analysis of communication skills of pupils with dysarthria. The theoretical part includes a qualitative research that is based on an analysis of Czech and foreign literature, as well as an analysis of law documents. It provides a description of communication, communication skill, communication disorder, mental, physical and multiple disability and dysarthria. It also briefly discusses special education, the Framework Educational Programmes and therapeutic approaches to pupils with dysarthria. The practical part is devoted to an assessment of a qualitative research that is based on case studies of pupils with dysarthria, observations of such pupils, semi-structured interviews with teachers, teachers´ assistants or special needs assistants, parents and a school speech-language pathology assistant.
