Using the My Backpack method when working with children growing up outside their parents´ educational enviroment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím metody My Backpack u dětí vyrůstajících mimo výchovné prostředí rodičů. Cílem práce je popsat možnosti využití metody My Backpack při práci s dětmi vyrůstajícími mimo výchovné prostředí rodičů z pohledu odborníků pracujících s touto metodou. Teoretická část je stručným úvodem do problematiky systému náhradní péče. Podrobněji popisuje specifické problémy dětí, které nevyrůstají v biologické rodině. Dále představuje osoby, které s dítětem po jeho odchodu z rodiny úzce spolupracují. V neposlední řadě pojednává o metodě My Backpack a jejím významem při práci s dětmi vyrůstajícími mimo výchovné prostředí rodičů. Výzkumné šetření je založeno na kvantitativní výzkumné strategii, konkrétně použitím dotazníku vlastní konstrukce. V závěru jsou uvedeny výsledky empirického šetření.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the use of the My Backpack method in children growing up outside the educational environment of their parents. The aim of this work is to describe the possibilities of using the My Backpack method when working with children growing up outside the educational environment of parents from the perspective of professionals working with this method. The theoretical part is a brief introuduction to the issue of the systém of alternative care. It describes in more detail the specific problems of children who do not grow up in a bilogical family. It also introduces people who work closely with the child after leaving the family. Last but not least, it discusses the My Backpack method and its importance in working with children growing up outside their parents´educational environment. The research survey is based on a quantitative research stratégy, spcifically usin a self-designed questionnaire. In the conclusion, the results of the empirical survey are presented.
