COVID-19 and international trade: Issues and actions

In the year 2020, the world became paralyzed due to a new disease called COVID-19. The world's economy and the internal processes of companies were affected due to the crisis generated by this new pandemic. Given this scenario, the objective of this thesis is to determine the effect of COVID- 19, both positive and negative, on international trade during the year 2020 of the different sectors of the industry and its effects in the subsequent years. As well as to analyze a selected company through the qualitative and quantitative research methods in the form of an interview with the company's employees, and with the company's financial statements. All of this in order to be able to provide the company with a series of recommendations to help the company to overcome the challenges caused by this pandemic and to answer the intended research questions.
