Cieľom diplomovej práce je na základe spracovanej finančnej analýzy vyhodnotiť ekonomickú výkonnosť podniku a posúdiť ju v kontexte daného odboru. Aplikáciou popísaných metód finančnej analýzy na podnik Třinecké železárny, a.s., sme zistili, že spoločnosť je financovaná hlavne vlastným kapitálom, je rentabilná a vytvára ekonomickú pridanú hodnotu.
