Analysis of the evaluation system and work performance in the selected company

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce byla analýza hodnocení pracovníků a pracovního výkonu v drogerii DM. Pomocí rozhovoru s vedoucí osobou byl objasněn manažerský pohled na hodnocení. Z pohledu zaměstnanců byl zjišťován přístup hodnocení pomocí dotazníkového šetření, kdy na rozdané dotazníky zodpovědělo celkem 31 osob, z toho 30 žen a pouze jeden muž. Respondenti byli ve věku od 22 let do věku 57 let. Z dotazníků bylo zjištěno, že 66% zaměstnanců si všímá, že k nějakému hodnocení dochází, celých 22 % odpovědělo, že si není vědoma hodnocení. Dále bylo zjištěno, že celých 81 % zaměstnanců je dostatečně motivováno. Také byla v práci použita statistická metoda, Fisherův exaktní test, kterou bylo zjištěno, že motivace zaměstnanců nesouvisí s jejich spokojeností. Bylo zjištěno, že firma má velmi spokojené zaměstnance a kvalitní systém odměňování. Systém hodnocení není pravidelný, a proto bylo konečně navrženo opatření týkající se školení v problematice hodnocení zaměstnanců, kdy by mělo být cílem, aby každý vedoucí byl odborně poučen v tomto tématu a mohl by pravidelně své podřízené hodnotit.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to analyze the evaluation of employees and work performance in the drugstore DM. Through an interview with the leader, the managerial view of evaluation was clarified. From the point of view of employees, the evaluation approach was ascertained by means of a questionnaire survey, in which a total of 31 persons answered the distributed questionnaires, of which 30 were women and only one man. Respondents ranged in age from 22 to 57 years. It was found from the questionnaires that 66% of employees notice that an evaluation is taking place, a whole 22% answered that they are not aware of the evaluation. Furthermore, it was found that as many as 81% of employees are sufficiently motivated. The work also used a statistical method, Fisher's exact test, which found that employee motivation is not related to their satisfaction. It was found that the company has very satisfied employees and a quality remuneration system. The appraisal system is not regular, which is why a measure on employee appraisal training has finally been proposed, which should aim to ensure that each manager is professionally informed on the subject and can regularly appraise his or her subordinates.
