Life and culture of Roma and Gypsies in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Život a kultura Romů v České republice“ jsem rozdělil do sedmi kapitol. V těchto sedmi kapitolách se snažím představit Romy a jejich tradiční i současný způsob života. V první kapitole je vymezen cíl práce, kterým je zmapován vývoj vztahů Romů k majoritní většině. Ve druhé kapitole se zabývám Osobní a národní identitou, charakteristickými vlastnostmi a znaky Romů. Ve třetí kapitole představuji historický vývoj a původ Romů. Exodus z Indie do Evropy. Ve čtvrté až šesté kapitole jsem představil tradiční romská řemesla, romské zvyky, způsob odívání, lidovou slovesnost a romskou hudbu, tanec a písně.V poslední sedmé kapitole představuji hypotézy zvolené pro výzkum. Představuji metody a techniky výzkumu. Závěrem prezentuji zjištěná data, a výsledek výzkumu.

Abstract:

Thesis "Life and culture of Roma in the Czech Republic" I divided into seven chapters. In these seven chapters are trying to present Roma people and their traditional and contemporary lifestyles. The first chapter defines the aim, which is mapped to the development of the relations of the majority of Roma majority. The second chapter deals with personal and national identity, distinctive characteristics and Roma. The third chapter presents the historical evolution and the origin of the Roma. Exodus from India to Europe. In the fourth to the sixth chapter I presented the traditional Roma crafts, Roma customs, way of dress, folklore and Gypsy music, dance and song.In the past seven chapter presents the hypotheses selected for research. Present research methods and techniques. Finally, the data presents findings, and outcome research.
