Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit jaká je situace v České republice v průběhu aplikace Zákona č. 108/2006 Sb., o sociálních službách v praxi. Stanovené cíle zjišťují skladbu klientů a personálu, zda jsou plněny podmínky dané zákonem č. 108/2006 Sb. a má-li tento zákon vliv na počet podaných žádostí o umístnění v domovech pro seniory.
