Social workers of the municipal child welfare department view of family assistance

Abstract:

Ve své práci se zabývám tím, jaké jsou představy sociálních pracovníků orgánů sociálně právní ochrany dětí o roli rodinného asistenta. Jednak zjišťuji, jaké jsou představy o osobnostních předpokladech rodinného asistenta, o limitech jeho práce, náplni služby a také o roli rodinného asistenta při spolupráci s rodinou a OSPOD. Vzhledem k charakteru hlavní výzkumné otázky byla v této práci zvolena kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, která umožní lépe porozumět sociální realitě zkoumaného jevu. V této práci je proto použita metoda porozumění. Poznatky by měli sloužit především poskytovatelům rodinné asistence k lepšímu porozumění představám sociálních pracovníků OSPOD, což by mohlo usnadnit cestu vzájemné komunikace a vyjednávání a přispět k ujasnění role rodinného asistenta.

Abstract:

My work is dealing with social workers of the municipal child welfare department view of family assistence. First, I try to find out what are the ideas about personal assumptions of a family assistant, limits of his work, content services and also his role in collaboration with the family and municipal child welfare department. Due to the nature of the main research questions in this study qualitative research strategy was choosen that will enable a better understanding of the social reality of the phenomenon under investigation. In this work, therefore, used the method of understanding. The results should serve primarily to providers of family assistance to better understanding of social workers of the municipal child welfare department view, which could pave the way of mutual communication and negotiation and help to clarify the role of a family assistant.
