Economical assessment of implementing geographic information systems into the environment of the chosen company
Abstract:
Práce obsahuje charakteristiku geografických informačních systémů (GIS) a stávajících metod ekonomického zhodnocení. V dalších částech práce popisuje proces zavedení GIS do podniku a dále obsahuje finanční analýzu pojednávají o ekonomických přínosech a nákladech plynoucí z investičního projektu zavedení GIS do podniku.
Abstract:
The thesis contains the characteristics of geographic information systems (GIS) and existing methods of economic assessment. In other parts the thesis describes the process of implementing GIS into the company and also contains a case study discussing the economic benefits and costs of the investment project of implementing GIS into the company.
