Hospitality Trends in 2018

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Trendy v hotelnictví 2018 je zaměřena na analýzu aktuálních trendů. Vychází ze interdisciplinárního charakteru cestovního ruchu a hodnotí jeho aktuální tendence z ekonomického a socio-kulturního pohledu. První část práce je věnována vymezení základních pojmů, historii cestovního ruchu a vývoji hotelnictví. Analytická část se zaměřuje na samotný průzkum aktuálních trendů s tím, že se soustředí na trendy v marketingové komunikaci, zabývá se fenoménem sociálních sítí a jejich využitím v hotelnictví, dále trendy v hotelovém zaměření, zdravým životním stylem a hotelovým designem. Na základě hlavních identifikovaných trendů nachází deduktivní metodou validní ubytovací zařízení, které následně osobním šetřením v kombinaci s rozhovorem s generální ředitelkou přináší odpověď na předem vyslovené otázky:”Je možné nalézt hotel, který je s aktuálními trendy v maximální shodě”? “Vyplatí se hotelu trendy následovat, potažmo existuje rovnítko mezi trendy a úspěchem?”. Třetí návrhová část se zabývá možností implementace hotelové platformy popsané v předešlé části na tuzemské hotelové zařízení.

Abstract:

The bachelor dissertation Trends in Hotel Industry 2018 is focused on the analysis of current trends. It is based on the interdisciplinary character of the hotel industry and its current tendencies from an economic and sociocultural perspective. The first part of the dissertation is focused on the definition of basic terms, tourism and hotel industry development. The analytical part focuses on the actual research of current trends, focusing on trends in marketing communication, which deals with the phenomenon of social networks, trends in hotel orientation, healthy lifestyle and design. Based on the main identified trends, the dissertation finds a valid accommodation facility by deductive method, which in turn provides an answer to the questions asked in advance through a personal investigation combined with a conversation with the CEO: "Is it possible to find a hotel which is in maximum harmony with current trends"? "Is it worthwhile to follow the trends in the hotel industry, or is there an equal between following trends and success?". The third part deals with the possibility of implementing the hotel platform described in the previous section of the dissertation on a local hotel.
