Comparison of the activities and financing of two professional multi-ensemble theaters outside Prague, in the example of the South Bohemian Theatre and The J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá činností a financováním vícesouborových divadel. V teoretické části popisuje stručně historii a současnost divadel a divadelního podnikání na území ČR, typologii divadel a zdroje jejich financování, kde jsou popsány především veřejné zdroje. Praktickou částí je případová studie, která porovnává dvě konkrétní divadla po stránce umělecké i ekonomické. Je zde také uvedena organizační struktura divadel a způsoby jejich propagace.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the activities and financing of multi-ensemble theaters. The theoretical part describes the history and present of theaters and theater business in the Czech Republic, the typology of theaters and theater funding sources, especially public sources. The practical part is a case study that compares two specific theaters in the artistic and economic sphere. It also identified the organizational structure of theaters and methods of promotion.
