Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce na téma ?Geografické informační systémy cyklotrasy a cyklostezky v Pardubicích? popisuje vývoj Geografických informačních systémů, využití a práci s těmito systémy. Dále se zabývá pojmem tématické mapování, kde jsou především probírány kartografické prvky mapy a obsah mapy. Pozornost je také věnována na pojmy cyklotrasy a cyklostezky, na jejich vlastnosti respektive rozdíly a na pojem město bez aut, což je každoročně pořádaná akce ku prospěchu cyklistiky. V závěru je práce věnována zejména sběru tématických dat, jejich zpracování a vytvoření mapových výstupů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis, which deals with Geographical information systems, cycle-ways and cycling paths in Pardubice, describes the development of Geographic information systems, their use and work with these systems. Also it deals with conception of thematic mapping, especially with cartographic components, maps and the content of mentioned maps. Attention is also paid to the concept of cycle ways and cycle routes, their characteristics or more precisely their differences and it focuses on the concept of a City Without Cars, which is annualy held project in aid of cycling. In the conclusion, this bachelor thesis discuss the process of thematic data collection, processing and creating of map outputs.
