Cost Calculation in the Specific Company

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je navržení kalkulačního systému v konkrétní společnosti. První částí práce je literární rešerše, která popisuje náklady, jejich členění, kalkulační systém a s tím související pojmy. Aplikační část je zaměřena na kalkulaci nákladů vybraného podniku, který nemá kalkulační systém zatím zaveden. Provedena je analýza nákladů společnosti. Vybrané kalkulační metody jsou aplikovány na konkrétní výkony podniku. Využito je interních podkladů podniku a nestrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výsledky aplikovaných metod jsou komparovány. Firmě je doporučena konkrétní kalkulační metoda. Také jsou zjištěny nedostatky v řízení nákladů, na jejichž základě jsou navrženy změny v této oblasti. Nakonec jsou popsány kroky zavedení kalkulačního systému v analyzované společnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to design a costing system in a specific company. The first part of the thesis is a literature search, which describes the costs, their classification, costing system and related concepts. The application part is focused on the calculation of costs of a selected company that does not have any costing system implemented yet. An analysis of the company’s costs is performed. Selected calculation methods are applicated to specific outputs of the company. The company’s internal documents and unstructured interviews are used. The results of the applied methods are compared. A specific calculation method is recommended to the company. Weaknesses in cost management are also identified, on the basic of which changes in this area are proposed. Finally, the steps of implementing a costing system in the analysed company are described.
