Financial analysis of the company Model Obaly, a. s.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na finanční analýzu společnosti Model Obaly, a. s., která se zabývá výrobou kartonových obalů. Zdrojem informací jsou zveřejněné účetní závěrky za období 2010 až 2015. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit finanční zdraví a zhodnotit celkovou finanční situaci tohoto podniku. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části jsou popsány metody a definovány zvolené finanční ukazatele. Praktická část se následně zabývá aplikováním již popsaných metod na vybranou společnost. Jedná se především o horizontální a vertikální analýzu účetních výkazů společnosti. V této části jsou také vypočteny a interpretovány hodnoty popsaných finančních ukazatelů. Součástí této práce jsou i vybrané bankrotní a bonitní modely, které spolu s ostatními zjištěnými skutečnostmi umožní zhodnotit finanční stav a stabilitu této společnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on financial analysis of the company Model Obaly, a. s., whose main business activity is production of cardboard packaging. The sources of information are published financial statements for the period 2010 to 2015. The aim of the thesis is to determinate the financial health and to evaluate the overall financial situation of this company. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the methods and defines selected financial indicators. The practical part deals with the methods described above to the selected company. Above all these are vertical and horizontal analysis of financial statements of the company. In this part, there are also calculated and interpreted values described financial indicators. It includes selected creditworthy and bankruptcy models which along with other matters identified to evaluate the financial condition and stability of the company.
