The issue of child sexual abuse from the perspective of young people

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce na téma Problematika pohlavního zneužívání dětí z pohledu mladistvých osob je zaměřena na problematiku trestného činu pohlavního zneužití, jakožto patologického jevu ve společnosti. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit od mladistvých osob, zda jsou děti na základních školách dostatečně informovány o problematice pohlavního zneužívání dětí. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části a to na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část se skládá ze 6ti kapitol, které se postupně zabývají trestným činem pohlavního zneužití v obecné rovině, jeho definicí, paragrafovým zněním tohoto trestného činu dle Trestního zákoníku, jeho výkladem a kulturně-historickými aspekty pohlavního zneužití. Dále je zde hovořeno o incestu v rodině, o rodičích zneužívajících své děti a o fázích průběhu pohlavního zneužívání dítěte rodičem. Práce se také zmiňuje o reakci chlapců a dívek na pohlavní zneužívání a zabývá se také věkem oběti. Rovněž je zde zmiňována pomoc zneužívaným dětem a krizová intervence. Důležitou kapitolou je prevence pohlavního zneužívání prostřednictvím sexuální výchovy, a to v rodině i ve škole. Je zde uvedena také statistika výše uvedeného trestného činu v rámci České republiky, Moravskoslezského kraje a Ostravy. V rámci průzkumu je praktická část této práce zaměřena na to, zda byly děti s problematikou pohlavního zneužívání dětí seznámeny v mateřské škole, základní škole a v kolika letech toto seznámení probíhalo. Rovněž je zde zjišťováno, zda prošli děti na základní škole sexuální výchovou, v kolika letech a zda byla součástí této sexuální výchovy i problematika pohlavního zneužívání. Dále zjištění, kdo žáky základních škol seznamoval s výše uvedenou problematikou a kdo poskytl žákům nejvíc informací o uvedené problematice. Žáci se zde rovněž vyjadřují, zda bylo toto seznámení s problematikou pohlavního zneužívání dětí dostatečné a zda by uvítali, aby se na základních školách věnovala této problematice větší pozornost. Součástí práce je provedený kvantitativní průzkum formou nestandardizovaného dotazníku.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on the topic ?The Issue of Child Sexual Abuse from the Perspective of Young People? is focused on the issues of the criminal act of sexual abuse as a pathological phenomenon in the society. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out from young people if the children at primary schools are sufficiently informed about the issues of child sexual abuse. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts and these are the theoretical and practical ones. The theoretical part consists of six chapters which deal with the criminal act of sexual abuse in general terms gradually, its definition, as amended by articles of the criminal act in accordance with Criminal Code, its explanation and cultural-historical aspects of sexual abuse. Next topic is family incest, parents who abuse their children and stages of the course of the sexual abuse when parents abuse their children. The thesis mentions also the boys and girls? reaction to sexual abuse and deals with the age of victims. Help for abused children and crisis intervention is also mentioned here. A very important chapter is the prevention of sexual abuse by means of sex education at schools and at home. The statistics of this criminal act in the Czech Republic, Moravian-Silesian Region and Ostrava is also stated here. In the research, the practical part of this thesis clarifies if the children were informed about the issue of child sexual abuse in the kindergarten and at primary school and at what age the information was handed over. Moreover, it is found out if the children at primary school had sex education, at what age and if the sexual abuse was the part of it, who informed the students about the issues and who gave them the majority of information about it. The pupils also give their opinion if they had enough information about this topic and if they want to have more lessons about this issue at primary school. The part of this bachelor thesis is the quantitative research in the form of non-standardized questionnaire.
