Delirious condition in intensive medicine
Abstract:
Delirium v podmínkách intenzivní medicíny dosahuje až 62 % a u pacientů na umělé plicní ventilaci až 82 %. V oboru intenzivní medicíny je prevalence deliria spojena se zvýšenou morbiditou a mortalitou, horším dlouhodobým klinickým výsledkem a vyššími ekonomickými náklady. Delirium in intensive care conditions reaches up to 62% and in patients on artificial lung ventilation up to 82%. In the field of intensive care, the prevalence of delirium is associated with increased morbidity and mortality, worse long-term clinical outcomes and higher economic costs.
