Crime Prevention in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá prevencí kriminality v České republice. Je zde popsáno, jaké formy prevence kriminality můžeme v České republice najít, jaký je systém prevence kriminality nebo přímo strategie prevence kriminality v České republice. Samostatná kapitola je věnována typům programů prevence kriminality, jež jsou realizovány republikově či na lokální úrovni v oblasti Sokolovska. V praktické části se využívá analytické a komparativní metody, konkrétně v dotazníkovém šetření na téma pocitu bezpečí občanů města Sokolova. Cílem bakalářské práce je nabídnout čtenáři nahlédnutí do prevence kriminality v České republice a podat čtenáři jakýsi ucelený obraz této problematiky. V rámci empirické části si autorka klade za cíl potvrdit své hypotézy a následně navrhnout možná řešení, která by pozitivně ovlivnila pocit bezpeční obyvatel Sokolova.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with crime prevention in the Czech Republic. There is described which forms of crime prevention we can find in the Czech Republic, which is the system of crime prevention or directly the strategy of crime prevention in the Czech Republic. A separate chapter is devoted to the types of crime prevention programs that are implemented at the national or local level in the Sokolov region. In the practical part, is used analytical and comparative methods, specifically in a questionnaire survey of „the feeling of security of the citizens in Sokolov“. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to offer readers an insight into crime prevention in the Czech Republic and to give the reader a comprehensive picture of this issue. In the empirical part, the author aims to confirm her hypotheses and then propose possible solutions that would positively affect crime prevention of the citizens in Sokolov.
