Concept of teaching algorithmization at a multi-year grammar school

Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na koncept výuky algoritmizace, který spojuje teoretické a praktické prvky s cílem podporovat rozvoj informatického myšlení a digitální gramotnosti u žáků. Teoretická část práce se věnuje revizi Rámcového vzdělávacího programu (RVP) a jeho důležitosti pro výuku informatiky. Dále se práce zabývá informatickým myšlením a digitální gramotností. Jedním z hlavních témat je samotný pojem algoritmus a jeho význam v informatice. Práce také představuje blokové programovací jazyky jako vhodný nástroj pro vizualizaci a implementaci algoritmů. Praktická část práce přináší tři pracovní listy pro žáky s metodickými listy pro učitele. Cílem práce je přispět k vylepšení výuky algoritmizace na víceletém gymnáziu a poskytnout učitelům užitečné nástroje a materiály pro efektivní výuku.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the concept of teaching algorithmization, which combines theoretical and practical elements with the aim of promoting the development of computational thinking and digital literacy in students. The theoretical part of the thesis reviews the Framework Educational Program (FEP) and its importance for computer science education. It also addresses computational thinking and digital literacy in the context of the modern digital society. One of the main topics is the concept of an algorithm and its significance in computer science. The thesis introduces block-based programming languages as a suitable tool for visualizing and implementing algorithms. The practical part of the thesis provides three worksheets for students along with methodical sheets for teachers, offering detailed information and instructions for teaching and effective use of the materials. The goal of this final thesis is to contribute to the improvement of algorithmization education in secondary education and to provide teachers with useful tools and materials for effective teaching. It is believed that this concept can bring positive changes to the approach of algorithmization education and support the development of key skills in students.
