Options to support children with communication disorders to defer schooling from the perspective of parents and teachers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi podpory dětí s narušenou komunikační schopností s odkladem školní docházky z pohledu rodičů a pedagogů. Cílem bylo analyzovat četnost odkladů školní docházky u dětí s narušenou komunikační schopností, zaměřit se na vzdělání pedagogů v oblasti podpory těchto dětí, zjistit jaké jsou metody a způsoby práce k rozvoji těchto dětí a zhodnotit oblast spolupráce mateřské školy, rodiny a odborníků, kteří se podílejí na podpoře těchto dětí. V teoretické části se zabývá komunikační schopností a nejčastějšími druhy narušené komunikační schopnosti u dětí předškolního věku, problematikou školní zralosti, vzděláváním dětí s odkladem školní docházky v mateřské škole. Praktickou část tvoří výzkumné šetření kvantitativního charakteru realizováno prostřednictvím předem připravených dotazníků, které se zabývá možnostmi podpory dětí s narušenou komunikační schopností s odkladem školní docházky z pohledu rodičů a pedagogů. Výzkum byl orientován na pedagogy mateřských škol pracujících s dětmi s narušenou komunikační schopností s odkladem školní docházky a na jejich rodiče.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of support for children with impaired communication skills with school attendance delay from the perspective of parents and teachers. The aim was to analyze the frequency of postponements of schooling for children with impaired communication skills, focus on training teachers in support of these children, to find out what are the methods and techniques for the development of these children and to evaluate the area of cooperation between kindergartens, families and professionals involved to support their children. The theoretical part deals with communication skills and the most common types of communication skills in preschool children, the issue of school readiness, education of children with postponed school attendance in nursery school. The practical part consists of investigation of quantitative realized through pre-prepared questionnaires, which deals with the possibilities of support for children with impaired communication skills with school attendance delay from the perspective of parents and teachers. The research was focused on kindergarten teachers working with children with impaired communication skills with postponed school and their parents.
